***UNDER CONSTUCTION*** Who: *You Silly* What: The Chicken & Booze Classic is a golf scramble put on by the fine people at C&B HQ. All proceeds benefit the Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati. In 2007, we had 131 golfers, 22 volunteers and raised $15,000 for the ASGC. When: September 13, 2008 1:30 pm Where: Reeves Golf Course Why: The odds of having a child with autism are 1 out of 150 births. 1.5 million Americans are afflicted today with 10-17% annual increase (according to the CDC). Autism knows no racial, ethnic, social boundaries, family income, lifestyle or educational level and can affect any family, any child. The mission of the Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati (ASGC) is to improve the quality of life for all people with autism spectrum disorders and their families. The ASGC currently serves over 2000 parents, educators and professionals in the Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana regions. How: How? How what? Oh, How Much.
